Disconnect and Self-Destruct
The feeling of being empty and alone is growing. I spend hours with people I conisder friends, yet, i feel no real connection with them, or anyone. I am too nervous or antsy and have to leave in order to avoid the anxiousness i feel around them. I don’t know. I get this way over the summer. I mean, I have fun, but I’m sinking at the same time.

I feel that a lot of the time. Part of it is the fact that I don’t really consider many of the people around me my equals, which is something I’ve noticed that you share. This is not to be egotistical, but so many people are so intolerably stupid, and even if they are good people, they can still be unpleasant to be around.
